Vegas Glitz and Glam
A dance
club cum theater in Mandaluyong promises a preview
of Caesar's Palace.

The extravagant
shows and high-kickin' dancers in flamboyant costumes
of Las Vegas in Mandaluyong?
You better
belive it: America's playground, Las Vegas, that
strip of sparkling lights amidst the hard dessert
of Nevada, famous for its casinos and 24-hour
instant wedding ceremonies, is being replicated
in a stage somewhere in the quiet stretch of Boni
Avenue in Mandaluyong. Club Mwah, a dance club
cum theater, is out to mimic the sparkling ambiance
of Vegas, with a touch of style of New York's
Studio 54.
Dressed
in feathered and sequined couture, Club Mwah's
"showgirls" hype up the night with their spectacular
performances reminiscent of those at Caesar's
Palace. The stage center can be hydraulically
lifted to add drama and excitement to the whole
show.
Club Mwah's
typical night starts with "Bedazzle" - a Vegas-inspired
show featuring a revue adaptation of Broadway
hits and original productions injected with doses
of comic relief. Aside from the light spectacle,
the audience could be amazed by the "showgirl's"
costumes, which may vary from flashy to classy
with a hint of Versace.
After
the sensational high-octane production, the audience
can then groove the night away atop a kaleidoscope
dance floor with multi-blinking lights attuned
to the rhythm of the music. Two side ledges on
the opposite wall provide ample view of the other
dancing beauties.

Since
its opening, Club Mwah has become a favorite among
the night entertainment clique, especially the
name-droppables of the metro social and lifestyle
circle. Its concept, although relatively new in
the country, brings back the opulent feel of the
bygone discotheque era and the lavishness of the
Las Vegas nightlife.
At Club
Mwah, excess will always be glamorous - the more
dramatic, the better.
Get the
feel of what it's like to be in Vegas. No air
flights to consider. Just gear up for a night
of outrageous fun and entertainment. Club Mwah
is located at the 3rd level of the Venue Tower
along Boni Ave. in Mandaluyong City. For more
