| Club Mwah dazzles with own
Miss Saigon Sharon Cuneta
recently watched a performance of Bedazzled 6 at Club Mwah, that landmark Las
Vegas inspired theater. The megastar came out of the experience entertained fully,
wanting more. Club Mwah owners and operators Chris Nicolas and Pocholo Malilin
promised to invite her again soon. Sharon
is but one of a bevy celebrities who have come and watched musical revues at the
Mwah, located at 3rd floor The Venue Tower Boni Ave., Mandaluyong City, not far
from the rotonda. 
The
new edition of Bedazzled, Mwah's long running series of highly charged presentations,
boasts grad production numbers, according to Malilin. The most lavish among these
he says, is the club's version of Miss Saigon, complete with a helicopter in mid-air.
Kim enters the scene paddling a boat on stage. She is grossly pregnant. Malilin
says other new numbers in Bedazzled 6 are: Madonna's Vogue given Thai choreography,
with golden temple in background and authenticcall exotic Thai costumes; African
jungle, which transforms the stage into the meadows while dancer and co-median
Karma cavorts with three colorful ostriches; Sakura Flower Festival, which takes
guests on a swing of Seoul, Korea. World-class,
opulent, first rate, and quality entertainment are but some of the reviews lavished
on Club Mwah's productions. "We
never scrimp on budget for sets and costumes to ensure authenticity and visual
delight, says Malilin. The materials used in the Thailand showcase, for instance
were all imprted from Bangkok. •
